For my final assignment this semester, I have created a tiny book (2x3in) filled with paintings of colourful insects. I’ve included their names, written in fonts that I felt matched their appearance. Below is a photo of the cover, as well as some of my favourite pages.

Tiny Press (SAAG)
Below are four books that I made during our trip to the SAAG, where we were shown how to bind books using the perfect binding method. I used two different colours for book covers. I intend to use these tiny books for personal future projects. Each book is roughly 3x3 in.

Altered Children’s Book
For this assignment I have altered a children’s book. Initially, my goal was just to change the dialogue within the story. I instead decided to collage pieces of magazines all throughout the pages in order for the book to make no sense. Below is the cover page, as well as some of the pages I had the most fun altering.

Postcard
As I thought about the idea of sending postcards, the first person that came to mind is my mom who lives in Quebec. I decided to draw orchids since I have memories of her sculpting them out of clay. On the backside of the postcard is a phrase written in Thai. (8.5 x 5.5 in)
